Last time I checked in, I mentioned I had signed up for my 10K writing sprint. The sprint is over (while I am on vacation), and I didn't write 10k words yet. But, I did a ton of good editing and adding words. I still consider that a win.

One thing I am learning is not to edit as I write- so I am going back to focusing on my writing while I inch closer to my 80K word goal.

I hit a major goal in writing today- 10,000 words! I am still going strong for the day, but I had to share. I started writing on April 1, so it is a major accomplishment for me. To keep up the momentum, I signed but for a 10k word sprint- meaning I write 1000 words a day for 10 days straight. I am still a bit short for today's 1000 word goal, but I still have plenty of time.
