Last time I checked in, I mentioned I had signed up for my 10K writing sprint.  The sprint is over (while I am on vacation), and I didn't write 10k words yet.  But, I did a ton of good editing and adding words. I still consider that a win.

One thing I am learning is not to edit as I write- so I am going back to focusing on my writing while I inch closer to my 80K word goal. 

I am on vacation to visit my dad, so writing hasn't been a top priority. He's read and gave some great feedback on the prologue and is enjoying the story so far.  I really have to give my mother and father credit for being my champions right now.
